The new ARX is a great modality for strength training and metabolic conditioning combined. If you think the workout seems too short, just plow it. It leaves you with deep muscle fatigue in all the major groups, especially your hip and shoulder girdle, but not sore.
I went to a two-day tactical shooting course a week ago: running, shooting, endless kneeling and standing, burpees, endless arms running a weapon. I was tired when it was over, but after 3 weeks with Adrian beforehand, I blasted the course – at age 54! THAT is “functional fitness”!
